We are delighted that you will be joining us in Ann Arbor to interview at our program! We have crafted a wonderful day that is designed to allow you to engage our residents, highlight our training program, and introduce you to our community. During the interview day, you will have the opportunity to meet individually with our program leadership and key faculty. In addition, you will meet with residents in informal settings and sit in on educational conferences.
The Evening Prior
Informal dinner with residents (and their spouses/significant others) at either Café Habana, Conor O'Neill's or Mash, local restaurants located in downtown Ann Arbor. These are wonderful venues to meet many of our residents and their families in a fun and informal atmosphere to learn about our program and community. Dinners usually begin around 7:00 PM.
Day of the Interviews
We believe that the best way for you to understand what our training program and community have to offer is to meet with many individuals during your visit. We make special efforts for you to connect with residents and faculty who share similar personal and/or professional experiences to individualize the day as much as possible. In addition, each applicant meets with the Program Directors individually. We believe that one-on-one attention is an important facet of combined training which begins on your very first day with us!
